Magical Mud Tinted concrete inspired by adobe ‘mud’ became the water-proof and malleable material that creates the form for the main features of this room. This ‘mud’ was then made magical with flakes of gold embedded below the final epoxy coating. The gold sparkles and changes as fireflies on a summers evening. This ensuite bath started as a long awkward space. At only 7”-4” wide, 25”-6” long and necessarily on 2 levels, a formidable challenge. A walk-in shower and 2 person soaker tub, a private toilet room, dual vanities an large make-up mirror were all on the must-have list for these clients.
